SOUTH DAKOTA spelled out in big embossed letters, each one on a strip cut from a different era of South Dakota license plate: the light green 1929 plate, the 1950s whites, the statehood centennial and the pine-tree plates. Rusty rivet holes, chipped paint and worn edges, printed in full color on a garment-dyed Comfort Colors tee for a soft, vintage style look.

For anyone who grew up in South Dakota, collects old plates, or has spent a lot of hours on its highways. A good gift for dads, car people and anyone who moved away and still says they are from South Dakota.
